Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Pakistani musical deva, arrested at New Delhi airport for allegedly carrying undeclared foreign currency.
Upon arrival from Pakistan, Rahat was spotted carrying undeclared US 100,000, and was being questioned by the custom officials at the airport. Rahat’s secretary Shrivatav was also arrested who was with him on that time.
Rahat, who has recently won the Filmfare Award for the Best play back singer, is imprisoned right now and is not allowed to meet anyone.
In July 2010, Rahat Fateh Ali was involved in controversy since organizer of a concert in Gurgoan filed a case against him because he failed to turn up for a show
